The folks at EA and Mythic have revealed their open beta plans for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. The open beta will start on September 7, and the game is scheduled to launch simultaneously in North America, Europe, and Oceania on September 18. "The Open Beta will be level capped and content restricted. You will be allowed to choose any of the game's 20 unique careers and advance through rank 20. You will also be free to explore and battle across Tiers 1 and 2 of each army's homeland. Please note that any characters created during the Open Beta will NOT carry over into the live game as they will be wiped from the servers."

Details about the next major update for Team Fortress 2 are emerging on the official Steam site. So far we know that the Heavy class is getting new achievements, a new unlockable minigun called Natascha, and unlockable boxing gloves. Wait... what? Boxing gloves? Shouldn't that be brass knuckles or something? Anyway, the game will also get a new map from Valve with this update called Badwater Basin, and there's more info coming next week.
